It’s True. This Park Adds $200 million to Our Local Economy – with Stephen V. Rodriguez – President Nathan Benderson Park Conservancy | Episode 070
One of the truly wonderful additions to the Sarasota Area in recent memory is Nathan Benderson Park. The park is known for its fishing and is ideal for recreational kayaking, canoeing, sailing, remote-control sailboats, and other non-gas-powered vessels plus many, many community events, fairs, and festivals.
Even more, it's known nationally and internationally as a world-class destination for rowing as it hosted the 2016 and 2020 U.S. Olympic Team Trials and in 2022 International Dragon Boat Federation Club Crew World Championships.
I'm very pleased to have as my guest today, Stephen Rodriguez - President, of Nathan Benderson Park (NBP).
In this episode, you'll learn ...
- One thing most people don't know about Steven
- Why NBP is so financially important to our community
- What most people would be surprised to know about the park
- What his favorite events are
- ... and much much more!
I appreciate that you stopped by today so remember to listen ... learn .. and connect!
